Spacious bathroom provided a decent amount of room to maneuver, even if it was a bit outdated. The heated towel rail added a nice touch, keeping things cozy for chillier nights.
Bathrooms need more attention—mould on the ceiling isn’t exactly charming. Shower in room 9 sounded like an imperial starship taking off, so don’t expect a quiet wake-up. Minor details like no tumbler and a towel rail that felt ready to disband could use a fix. The breakfast had limited options after a few days. ran out of cereal when the place got busy. Road noise might be a bother for light sleepers, but it didn’t ruin the experience for me.

Had a fantastic trip with friends! We explored the Fishing Heritage Museum and drove along the Malt Whisky Trail. The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The location worked well for visiting local attractions, and parking was included, which was a nice touch.
Unfortunately, the guttering above our window caused a lot of noise, which made it hard to sleep. The bed also squeaked a lot.

great staff but rooms need attention
The breakfast offered a good variety and was quite enjoyable. The staff were friendly and despite being overworked, they maintained a pleasant demeanor throughout my stay.
The state of the rooms really rather unacceptable in this day and age.

The spacious double room came with both a double and a single bed, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring one of the best meals I've had in Scotland. Dinner options were delicious and reasonably priced, although a broader menu with Mediterranean choices would improve the dining experience. Parking was plentiful, but the nearby A98 can be a bit hectic for crossing to quieter cycling paths.

I had such a lovely time here, especially enjoying the cozy single room and the gorgeous garden area perfect for relaxing. The poolside vibe was great, and I appreciated how the staff promptly set me up when my flight was delayed. If I had to nitpick, I wish there'd been some teaspoons for my tea, but overall, it was a fabulous stay! ☕
